Iomega announces Iomega® EZ Media & Backup Center

Iomega® EZ Media & Backup Center is Iomega’s new feature-rich but affordable single-drive network storage product for home networks is now available in the UK. With the new Iomega EZ Media & Backup Center, you can easily share and access files, photos, videos, and music between all your computers on your home network, as well as sharing with friends and family thanks to the included Iomega Personal Cloud technology and the Iomega Link mobile app for use with Apple iOS devices. (Available free of charge via download.)

Setup and Features: Utilizing a simple three-step setup (no CD required), the Iomega EZ Media & Backup Center has a built-in UPnP™ AV Media Server (DLNA certified) and iTunes™ Server so content can be easily shared between computers and any other digital media adapters such as game consoles, digital picture frames and networked TVs. Users also can automatically post files to their Facebook®, YouTube® and Flickr® accounts, as well as using Iomega’s Active Folders feature to create personalized slideshows and distribute emails. For Apple users, Time Machine support is included. There is also torrent support for easy and fast downloading of larger media files without the need of a PC.

Iomega Personal Cloud: Bundled free of charge with the new Iomega EZ Media & Backup Center, Iomega Personal Cloud is the ultimate solution for protecting your digital files while having access to them from anywhere in the world. (Internet access required.) Iomega Personal Cloud connects the entire contents of your home network over the Internet as if you were sitting at home. It gives you the ability to access files and information remotely over the Internet, as well as creating a secure connection to share files and information with friends, family and others chosen by you. All without any monthly fees or subscription costs.
